The Markets
Stocks gyrated around the flat-line on Wednesday as investors digested earnings from financial juggernaut JP Morgan and reviewed the latest read on consumer prices in the US. The S&P 500 Index closed with a gain of three-tenths of one percent, remaining pinned to levels around the 20-day moving average. The 50-day moving average, now at 4435, remains in a position of significant resistance.
