The Markets
Stocks weakened on Tuesday, giving back some of the prior session’s gain. The S&P 500 Index shed just over eight-tenths of one percent, falling back below the 20-day moving average and testing rising trend-channel support. Intermediate support at the 50-day moving average remains solid, although levels back down to previous horizontal resistance at 3550 remain fair game.
Today, in our Market Outlook to subscribers, we discuss the following:
- When to sell stocks and overweight bonds within investment portfolios
- The trend of emerging markets over developed markets and which one to favour now
- Interesting juncture for the Gold Miners ETF and the potential target
- Canada GDP and areas of the market to gain exposure to in order to take advantage of the emerging trends within
